Swindon Powertrain was established in 1971 as a high performance engine specialist.

The original activity was essentially maintenance of Formula 1 engines in the 70s and early 80s. There followed a period of development of the company with numerous successful motorsport projects in rallying and touring cars around the World.

Ownership changed at the beginning of 2010 bringing a new era for the firm. The new structure develops power-train products for both motorsport programmes as well as high performance road cars. Our range of departments covers design, simulation, manufacture and testing.
